Second of a two-part series offered by NCCDA focusing on how AI is/will influence our roles as Career Development professionals! Mark Cruver will provide counseling and career professionals in higher ed, K-12, private practice, and organizations with an understanding of how AI can/will impact the career planning process. There is also an intersection with how AI will influence current and future occupations as well as skills required for the labor market.

This workshop is designed to acquaint professionals with the hottest technology sweeping the nation - generative AI. Participants will learn strategies on how to harness the power of revolutionary tools like ChatGPT and reach new heights in both professional and personal worlds.

Mark Cruver will help participants discover the immense potential of AI to simplify their life, increase productivity, boost creativity, and take their businesses to the next level. He’ll offer key insights to unlock AI's benefits in purposeful and ethical ways. As career development professionals gain confidence with AI, they can support their clients in various stages of career development utilizing this trending technology to create resumes, develop industry specific cover letters, explore occupational information, compare/contrast educational training…and so much more.
