Creating Resilient Careers across the Lifespan

and within Generations

Date: Thursday, January 22, 2025, Time: 12:00 – 1:00 pm EST

Presenters: Michele DeRosa, Jan Cummings, Linda Hoopes, Ph.D.

Plan to join us for an inspiring and engaging event on coaching clients with resilient stories and strategies in career coaching and counseling.

Participants will engage in a learning and sharing process about six significant challenges experienced by many individuals at various stages of their career journeys. Sustaining a career that is both dynamic and effective requires adaptability and resourcefulness to embrace a resilience mindset and related skills. Facilitators, co-authors of “Resilient Careers: Stories and Strategies for Sustaining Professional Growth,” will introduce the comprehensive resilience model, share creative and realistic approaches and examples, and provide support materials to demonstrate how they integrate resilience strategies into career coaching with clients. We will also begin a conversation about how these career challenges impact the generations.
